Cole
Help me get it out of my head! I've always liked the sound but thought it too NNy for a full name, but as I acquire more and more songs by Mr. Porter, the name is engraining itself in my mind.
Not that I would use it, but um, combos anyone? TIA. ;)

I don't know why, but for some reason when I hear the name Cole, I think of that little piece of turd that sticks to your rectum that you can shake off after you've finished going number 2.
That's nice.

No, don't get it our of your head! I like Cole a lot. I think it's a great nn for Nicolas (no, not Nicholas), but it could definitely stand on its own as well.
Cole Geoffrey / Jeffrey
Cole Edward
Cole Mitchell (this is one of those Sprouse twins' names, though)
Cole Tomas
Cole Anthony
Cole Gabriel
Cole Frederick
Cole Peter
Cole Jasper (too mineral-y?)
Cole Christopher
Cole Isidore
Cole Daniel
Cole David
Cole Vincent
Cole Benedict
Cole Patrick
Cole Steven / Stephen
Cole Henry
Cole Harrison
I just realized something though. With my accent at least, when you say the first and mn together, it sounds a little like "Call (mn)" or whatever. Cole Anthony with a thick NJ accent sounds just like "Cawl Antony". I don't know if that concerns you, though, but I found it quite amusing. :D

Cole?
I'll admit, Cole doesn't seem like your usual name style, but don't try & get it out of your head. Let it grow on you and enjoy it to the maximum. I'm having the same experience with the name Chet. It's not my style really, but because of reasons I have explained at length previously I really love the name. I also like the sound of the name Cole. I would never use it personally, but I would like to hear it on someone else's child.

Totally one of my favorites, but its much easier to use as a middle name!
I think Cole is terrific. It's simple and classy, and really surpasses similar names like Gage, Colton, etc. How about...
Cole Sebastian
Cole Julian
Cole Julius
Cole Arthur
Cole Manus
Cole Wilfred
Cole August
Cole Tremaine
Cole Tyrone
Cole Simeon
Cole Quinlan
Cole Tobias

BIL's DS is named Cole. I really liked it the first time I heard it, and while I may think it somewhat surnamey, I don't really find it nney. :o)
What about Cole Timothy? Cole Andrew? Cole Vincent? Cole Hugo? Meh; I'm not coming up with any that really grab me. ;o) It's a good, solid name, though. It's just easier for me to put it in the mn slot.
Edited to correct misspelling
