I'd never use it either
but I do like it. It makes me think of Bob Marley, and that's the good and the bad behind it. It's good because I think Bob Marley was incredible, musically and otherwise. But the downside is that white middle Americans really latching on to Bob Marley kind of annoys me. Taking the name at face value and ignoring the first jump my mind makes, I really like it as a female name. It has a bit of an interesting edge to it and is familiar in a way that I find pleasantly attractive.
