I absolutely love Elena! It is just as you say, sweet and simple and yet so beautiful at the same time!

I used to always think this name was pronounced eh-LEE-nuh and liked it only because of was a family name and I like Alaina but really didn't like that spelling. But then the first time I heard Elena pronounced like eh-LAY-nah I instantly fell in love with it, especially the combo Elena Beatrice!

Elena June is a really pretty combo though I'd prefer Elena Jane or Elena Juliet. Elena Ruth is really lovely, especially if it honors someone and it reminds me of one of my favorites Helena Ruth (that's he-LAY-nah).
