I can only associate this name with a girl I went to elementary school with. She had really bad breath. I think that she actually was from the Dominican Republic and that's why she was named Dominica.

Very sweet; completely diferent than the masculin form. The "a" gives it a lighter, softer aura.
This is a name which sounds good on a little one and can also be taken seriously on a grown woman.
And I personally like the "K" because it ads flavor and looks more original without changing the pronunciation.
PS: I have liked the name Dominic since The Lord of the Rings trilogy came out and that was the name of one of the actors playing a hobbit, Merry the prankster cousin.

Domenica (Do-MEN-ee-ka) is pretty! Don't much care for the k version, though.
