Edward - I absolutely adore this name. It's definitely not overused (in the U.S. anyway), and is regal and traditional.
Gabriel - I'm not wild about this name, mostly because it sounds a bit wussy to me. I can't explain why I think that.
Oscar - All I can think of is Oscar the Grouch.
