Willa
WDYT, and Why?

I love this name; it's simply soft and graceful.
It's been growing on me a lot recently. I like it as a nickname for Wilhelmina (which has, inexplicably, also been growing on me a lot), but it's fine on its own, as well.
It's an old-fashioned name. My husband's grandmother was named Willabelle, so it feels really old to me.
Don't like it at all, sorry. It's very old and harsh to me.
I hated it the first time I heard it, but it's grown on me due to Willa Cather and Six Feet Under.
It's okay, kind of short and reminds me too much of William or Wilma Flintstone. I think it's okay as a nn for Wilhelmina though.
Willa has been really growing on me. I think the name is really cute, soft, and feminine.

I love Willa its one of my favs., its very feminine but has some spunk to it and its not popular which is great. I would definitely consider using it.
I think it's absolutely beautiful. I know a Willa, and she's one of the most amazing people I've ever met...and besides her, there's Willa Cather to be reckoned with. For two syllables, I think it packs a powerful punch--very intelligent, with a natural, meadowy feeling for me. Like someone who would be comfortable in the wilderness--like someone who looks like a bird, in only the best of ways, naturally. :)
It's a perfect little name, and it boggles my mind sometimes that it doesn't get as much face time as Willow, because it's equally graceful without ever trying.
Array (waxes horribly poetic over the name Willa)

It seems more nicknamey to me.
I like it a lot, and even considered it briefly for my baby girl due in August. I only dismissed it because my son's name starts with W and I didn't want to be themey.
I think it's adorable.

I think Willa is a great name, soft, wispy and oozes charms and amiability. It's old enough that it's an established name, but fresh enough in that it doesn't sound stale and in need of a good dusting. I don't foresee it becoming popular as the likes of Emma and Sarah, two names kind of in the same category as Willa.
