I like Romy for a girl as a nn for Rosemary. I like Remy and I like Roman for a boy, but I can't say I would 1) ever use it myself, or 2) call him Romy for short if I did. :b

Romie, to me, looks like a girl's name. It might be cute on a little boy, but can you picture him at 40 still calling himself Romie? Remy is much nicer.

River--It's different.

I like Remy / Remi for a boy, and as a nn for Jeremy. Romie I prefer for a girl, as a nn for Romina or Rosemary / Rosemarie.

As a European, for me the name Romie sounds too girly. It does look like a misspelled Romy which is a nickname for Rosemarie.

All nice names. And I prefer the english prn of Remy over Romie. But I prefer Romie over the french prn of Remy.

Romie or Remy- I like both but I think I prefer Romie.
Tristan- ok but I can't stop associate it with the french triste (sad) and the Swedish trist (boring)

Remy is very cute im my opinion. Romie is not to bad but I prefer Remy. I like Remy pronounced (RAY-mee).
