I've actually been thinking a lot about Paloma and have rather been liking it. It's a sweet name I think, elegant, educated, refined, and would be cute on a little girl or grown woman. And I really love the meaning of 'dove'.
Paloma is a little hard to say but other than that I don't seen and other drawbacks on it.
It's a bit like Pamela in it's sound and I think it might be a nice way of honoring some named Pamela.
