I actually really like the name Andromeda (preferably as a fn). I'd consider using it. I like Annie as a nn for it, just because it amuses me to think about people being unable to guess what her full fn is. I think Annie is a sweet name, so if I ever used it, I wouldn't really mind it being shortened.
