I like Orla, and prefer this simpler spelling (esp. in the U.S.). But it's a little too close to the word "oral" so I'd be afraid of teasing. :-/

I think it's ver pretty. But it might get confused with the name Orlaithe (or-LAYTH).

It's gorgeous. The one Orla I know spells her name the modern way, but I love both versions.

I love Orla but don't care for the Orlaith spelling.

Orla's really pretty (if incredibly reminiscent of a stoner kid in my high school, who was regularly called Orlo, lol), but Orlaith would be pretty completely unworkable here in the States. And I prefer the simpler spelling, anyway. :)Array

Orlaith is pretty - but whenever I hear this name I think of the UK Big Brother star who was a bit.. flirtatious. However I doubt too many people will make that association, but they might have a bit of a struggle (at first) with the pronounciation.

I have that association tooOrlaith McAllister or something? Anyways I like Orla very much, though it's too popular here.

I think of her first, too. I like the name, though, particularly the spelling Orlagh.
