Popularity does not effect me in the least. I don't care if the name I like/love is number one on the lists. I love the name, and that's all that matters. I don't see the point in disregarding a "popular" name one loves, just to choose a less liked name because it's not as popular. That's just plain stupid and silly, and not worth it. Go for Natalie. It's a nice name, and while it's in the top 20, I don't see/hear it often. I know two Natalies, ages 20-years-old and 22-years-old.I find Minerva to be a very ugly name. I see no beauty in it at all. Sorry.
