I was just listening to the radio while reading some message posts and the radio DJ was talking about Melissa Ethridge and her twin children.

She has a son named Miller Steven and
She has a daughter named Johnnie Rose

Johnnie is adorable for a girl, though I prefer it as a nn for Johnna. Miller is fine for a boy, nms really, as I don't much care for surnames as first names.

Johnnie is so "boy" in my head, it's odd to see it as a girl name paired with Rose. I don't like the spelling much either. Miller Steven is okay, just NMS.

Please search first

Celeb babies and basically names that are well known or part of a public conscious tend to get repeated to no end. Please search before you post from that sphere to be sure you're not "beating a dead horse" as they say. This just happened the other day with Demi Moore's children.

Oh Im sorry. I do agree with you on that. I just been coming on here everyday lately and I never saw this posted. So since I just heard the names on the radio I thought I would post this because I thought the names were pretty different.

I love Steven (prefer Stephen), but Miller is too "surname-y" for me.

Johnnie I could take if it was a nn for, say, Johanna or Jonquil. But Johnnie as a formal name is nmsaa. Rose is lovely, although it's getting rather cliche'd in the mn position.
