Sorrel?
Sorrel. For a girl. It's one of my new favourites, and I was wondering what everyone thought/pictured.

Isn't it a fungus and/or mushroom? Kind of odd to me. I don't particularly care for the sound of it, either.

I don't care for it. I don't find it at all feminie or prety. Very unflattering sounding. Sorry.

Hiya,A fellow Sorrel lover! LoL. I love the name Sorrel. The only thing I don't like is the first nn that springs
to mind is "Sore" which then grabs an image of a mangy dog :(. I always picture a tall, strong
young woman with light brown hair. I could see a girl named Sorrel being fun, patient, hard-working,
etc. Another "colour" name I like that isn't as obvious as Blue or Red is Brindle (I see it as a girls'
name), with the nn Brin (in case of anyone making incredible fun of her.)

I like it for a boy or girl! I wanted to name my daughter Harmony Sorrel for a while. I've found it works better for a middle name, but I love it anyway. My current favourite Sorrel combo is Philippa Sorrel.
The meaning may be "sour", but it's also a reddish-broen colour often used to discribe horses(so it works well with my Philippa).-Seda*

Yep, that's part of the reason why I like it. I'm a horse nut!

I think it's nice on someone else's kid. Not something I would use, but not bad :)__________________________________________________
