I really like the name Ava but it has become very very popular. What names would work as a first name for Ava ?

Ava is way too overused, and I liked it until someone told me it was the name of Hitler's wife. Now all I think is Ava was the name of Hitler's wife. I like Eva, Avaline, Avalon, Avani, Chava, Hava, Sarava. ~Lisa~

For some reason, I don't care for it, but I do like Eva. I don't think it's become too popular, compared to other names out there. And if it was very popular, who cares? You like the name, and that's all that matters. Anyway, I suggest Jasmine Ava and Bethany Ava.

Hmmm I'm really tired or I'd look harder, but after a quick search this is what I found. Avah, Avelina, Aveline, Avelyn, Avlynn. If you want you could just make up a name, that is one way to stay away from popular names, because even if you make up a name and it turns out to be a real name, it's doubtful many will have it. Like it could be something like Avaline or Ariava or Avanna or Avanalee or Avalona.I know it sounds strange but one name I like alot is Atillian or Atilliandus which I made up, and I like the name Valanna which I made up, though I sometimes spell it Vaulana.---------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, I'm not much into created names... my opinion is that if you really like Ava, popularity shoudn't affect you. Avah is just like Ava, the -h at the end doesn't change anything at all. Aveline, or Avalyn is nice, but Ariava, Avanna etc. are just too much for my taste.Another suggestion is Ada - it sounds almost like Ava, but not that popular. Avalon might work as well.

Yeah I was just using some made up names as examples even if I didn't like all of them, just trying to give ideas. Like Avanna is alittle too much for me but some people like stuff like that.---------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry that I worded it wrong I meant I would like to use Ava as a middle name and was looking for first names that would flow well.
