Hmmm well that's strange, I have met Japanese woman named
Midori, though not many because I don't see many woman from Japan. And I've seen
Midori mentioned as a name before on many Japanese name sites. Though I think the Japanese must sometimes use vocabulary words sometimes just like some english speaking people do and I'm certain other people who don't speak english probably do also. I've met a man from Japan named Kajii which if you're house is on fire you would say Kajii, Kajii. So I would say that it's ok to use
Midori as name. Though one japanese name I love alot is Tomoko, I had a pen pel from japan named Tomoko, and partially because of her and the show sailor moon I fell in love with japan. I even use to wish to be Japanese when I was 6 years old and for a couple years after that. But anyway when I just thought of Sailor Moon I remembered the name
Serena which is close to
Sabrina.
