Mary
Out of nowhere I'm really liking Mary. Do you have any opinions? I don't know many Mary's though I know a lot of people middle named Mary.

I have a really cool aunt named Mary but I always thought it to be a little bit of a normal name, a little too normal. I like names that make people ask questions. Names everyone doesn't know the meaning of. I like names that make others courious and interested in them. I like not very commom or plain names, but not strange names that are completely weird and don't sound nice. Like my name was a name that came from the names Mary and Maris. My name is Marisa, but is more commonly spelled Marissa. Some other names that are close to Mary are Marina, or Maris, or Maria, or Marian, or Mariam, or Marion, or Marianna. I like Marianna when it is said more like (mar-e-on-ah) rather than (mary-on-ah) or (mary-an-na).---------------------------------------------------------------------

Mary is a name close to my heart-the name of a beloved relative. I think it is beautiful, sweet, classic-a lovely name!

I like it. It's a very sweet, underused name. Wholesome. __________________________________________________

A friend of mines 7 year daughter's name is Mary Catherine used as double name. I think it's beautiful name. It can also shortened Mary Cate which is just as pretty.

I've always loved the name Mary, for some reason! I don't like the meaning, but it's a great name. I don't know any Mary's at all.

I don't like the name Mary, and it's too popular. Not in todays kids but the adults. In my neighborhood there are four Marys that live right in a row (and that's just on my side of the block) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
And the world keeps spinning...

I like a lot of variations of this name, but have never liked this name. The exception is if it is a family name, which supersedes all!

I think Mary is a lovely name! So underused, even though people think it's common. It's a sweet name that'll suit any age. I know one Mary who's in her 70s, and one Marianne (but that doesn't really count) who's in her 20s.

I know several Mary's, and I just noticed a few minutes ago that it is the number one name for all ages in the U.S. (at least it was in 1990).It's a nice name, classic, although a little plain for my taste. The main thing I can think of is that it would be a little too similar to Moira for you to use.
