WDYT of Aislinn?
Do you prefer this spelling or Ashlyn (this is in the U.S. so it might be easier to pronounce this way)?

I love the spelling of Aislinn compared to Ashlyn (the latter just looks trendy) but in the states people will probably say AYS-lynn so the second spelling would just be easier.

Well, it's okaaaay.. I'm getting used to it and it's pretty, but I'd still prefer it to be slightly Anglicized to Ashlinn. Aislinn, I still tend to pronounce "Ace-lynn."- chazda

I think in the U.S. it would be much easier to use the spelling Ashlyn. I prefer that too, since that's the way it sounds.

It's too much like Ashley, and I hate that name.

I prefer Aisling, because it is not trashy like Ashlyn to me...

I don't consider them the same name, but yes, I think Ashlyn would be much more convenient in the USA :-)I personally prefer Aislinn but then I live in Scotland where that pronunciation is well known. If I lived in the States, the form I'd use would probably be Ashling._____________________________________________________________________"There are few more distressing sights than that

I prefer the spellings Ashlyn, Ashlan or Ashlen to Aislinn only because I pronounce Aislinn like "AZE-lyn".

I suggest using Aislinn. Pronunciation of names is always enforced by its use so don't dumb a beautiful name down by writing it like it's said.

I'm not a fan of the name Ashlyn, or many -lyn names. But when I saw just Aislinn I didn't have a clue as to what it was until I saw Ashlyn.

I'm not too keen on the name - I think the "Ashlyn" spelling may give more of a clue as to how it's pronounced (I always pronounced Aislinn "AZE-lin"), but if you prefer the Aislinn spelling, you should let it stop you. :-)
