wdyt of Beth?
Can it be used as a name on its own? Thanks :)

I don't mind it and yes, I think it can be used on it's own.
I only think of Beth as a nickname for Elizabeth or Bethany. I love it.
I only see Beth as a formal name. I know of no one who uses Beth as a nickname (I'm speaking of Elizabeths and Bethanys), and I know two Beths, and Beth is their formal name. It's quite complete and full on its own. I like it.

I think so. I've known two Beth's. One was a Beth Ellen, which I still think is a sweet combo.
Beth is one of those nicknames that's established enough to work on it's own in my opinion. Like Jack and Frank.

I really think it can. It's actually my middle name and plenty of people have asked me if it's shortened for anything. Why would I shorten my middle name?! But I know a few Beth's who shorten and a few who don't. It's fine either way.
It's often used as a name in its own right, and I wouldn't think a Beth definitely had a longer formal name, though I'd think it was quite possibly from Elizabeth or Bethany.
Personally, I like it as a nickname for Bethany / Bethanie. (I don't like Elizabeth, I find it very boring. Actually I prefer Beth on its own to Elizabeth.)

I love Elizabeth and Beth as a nn
Yes, I think it can definitely stand on its own. I think it's a very sweet name, it reminds me of Little Women.

I like Beth, and LOVE Elizabeth. I don't think Beth can stand on it's own though.
