WDYT of Theodora?
Replies
pretty name,like it alot
I don't think it's forced from Theodore. (Though I do think that about a lot of feminine forms, this one feels like a name in its own right.)
I like Theodora, but not as much as I used to. I've cut it from my favourites lists. I'd prefer just Thea as a full name, which is unusual for me. I've begun to find Theodora quite stuffy.

I think it's totally cute!
I really like it and other Theo- names like Theodosia, Theophania, Theodoula, Theonike, Theotima, Theosophia, Theophania, and Theokleia.
I love it . . .
. . . but I can never quite fit it into a modern sibset. It's fabulous as a middle name, though.

I like it, but I think Theodosia is ten times more fun, hehe.
No, I don't think it's any more forced than Michaela, Laura, or Andrea. I, too, like the nn Thea. It's a bit frilly -- but most feminized names are. It's not overly frilly, though.

I would prefer Thea.

I don't think there is anything feminine about Theodora. I find it very ugly and unflattering, and I think the male Theodore aspect of it is too overbearing. Needless to say, I don't care for it.

I had a good friend by this name, but I never liked it, sorry :(. She went by Dora most of the time.
