I really like the name Lulu. Most of the girls on here won't like it though and they'll say it's just a nn, but I like it as a full name too. If you really love it, use it.

I would have said I can't stand it but this weekend I met a gorgeous and sweet girl from Lebanon named Lulu and now I think it's cute! She had dark brown hair, eyes and olive skin.

I definitely see it as more of a nn than a formal name. Especially for Louise or Louisa. I think the character on General Hospital that was named Lulu was Lesley Lu nn Lulu (Luke & Laura's daughter :b).

I prefer Lula, but it's OK.

Lulu is much too nickname-y and very, very immature sounding. It's cute for a 3-year-old, but not a 40-year-old. It's sickeningly cute. Evangeline is too over-the-top for my liking.

Giving your child the name of your late dog. How... nice.

To think about the future I can´t imagine a woman called Lulu. It´s a nn to me.

I think it's kind of cute as a nickname (though I still don't really like it, as it reminds me of "loo" as in "toilet"). I don't think it works as a full formal name. I can't imagine a Dr. Lulu Surname ... it wouldn't sound professional. There are loads of names it can be a nickname for. Something like Louisa would be great.I think Evangeline is quite nice._____________________________________________________________________"There are few more distressing sights than that

I don't like Lulu very much as a name in itself - I think it'd be okay as a nickname for Lucy or the like. Evangeline is beautiful though, our eldest son would have been Evangeline if he'd been a girl.Sarah

I kind of like it (in a Poppy sort of way), but I think that I'd prefer it as a nn for Lucinda or Louise. However, the combo is quite nice.
