I personally do not like the name at all. That is my name, and I HATE IT! I think it is really boring. My middle name is Candace. I dont like the name Tess, but I think Candace sounds good with it.

Tess is too nicknamey for me I prefer the more formal Teresa / Theresa

I think Tess is nice as a full name, I don't like it when people give their kids a name, and know they will give it another nn. I think if you want to call your child Tess, you should call your child Tess and not Tessa or Teresa or something like that.
middle names:
Tess Alexia
Tess Alice
Tess Amaryllis
Tess Ariadne
Tess Damaris
Tess Dolores
Tess Elinor
Tess Florence
Tess Guinevere
Tess Gwendolen
Tess Helena
Tess Kristen
Tess Mercedes
Tess Natasha
Tess Nerys
Tess Valentina

I think it's a sweet nickname, but I don't think it's enough as a name in its own right. I do like Tessa as a full name though :-)_____________________________________________________________________"There are few more distressing sights than that

Tess is too nickname-y, incomplete sounding, and immature on its own. I really don't see why Tess alone is so popular as a formal name, since it's a nickname, really. I much prefer Teresa. I suggest Tess Jeanine and Teresa Leigh.
