Sawyer.
My biggest guilty pleasure. :-) I completely adore it for a girl, and have for a long time. I'm coming around to the view of unisex names, only, though, if the name was a orginally a surname.
So what do you think? I love it, as its spunky, not too common, and sweet. I have no idea what middle name would work, though. Other than Sawyer Rose, but Rose is such a filler. Sawyer Christine? Sawyer Meg? Sawyer Anne?

I used to like it for a boy, but now it seems sort of trendy to me. I really don't like it for a girl, sorry. But I can slightly see the attraction; sort of along the lines of Scout for a girl. It's definitely not the worst boy's-name-on-a-girl that I could imagine. :b And I do agree that a feminine mn would be the best idea. What about Sawyer Miranda, Sawyer Josephine or Sawyer Estella?
Its not my style but then I dont like many Unisex names

While I don't care for Sawyer, it's purely masculine to me, because it's surname-y, as well. There's not a bit of femininity within the name, and it would be *so* trendy for a girl. Ick. I do like Rose, Christine, Megan with Meg as a nickname, and Anne. Choosing those middle name makes it look like you'd just be choosing a "girly" name to balance out the masculinity of Sawyer - something so many people do when choosing a unisex name used more often for boys or just plain boy names. Just my opinion.

I really don't like Sawyer, especially on a girl, purely on the way it looks. I just think the spelling is really horrible! x.x
I like the sound of it, however. If it was spelt phonetically (a big no-no for a lot of people, I know!), like "Soiur", or something, I could really warm to it.
I think Sawyer Anne has a great flow. Sawyer Louisa? Sawyer Elodie?

I've always loved Sawyer for a girl, but I think I posted about it once and didn't dare do so again. Lol. It needs a girly middle name of course. I suggest:
Sawyer Daniella
Sawyer Madeline (whatever spelling, everyone has preference and there are so many)
Sawyer Christina
Sawyer Bronagh (BROH-na)
Sawyer Cordelia
Sawyer Katrina
Sawyer Tatianna
Sawyer Marissa
Sawyer Lucia

I really like Sawyer Madeline and Sawyer Cordelia... ty.
I like it, too. I blame the movie Cats Don't Dance--yes, I watch far too many children's movies along with reading too many children's books. :)
I think it's nice sounding, and, y'know, associating it with a voice like Natalie Cole's is hardly a bad thing, heh.
Sawyer Elisa? Sawyer Violet? I like Sawyer Melissa / Alyssa / Elissa for some reason, even though the middle names aren't usually my cup of tea. Sawyer Pamela? Sawyer Carmen? Sawyer Bethany? Sawyer Lydia? I like the Sawyer DAH-duh-duh rhythm.
(Here's the Sawyer I'm talking about, if you're curious: http://foxx278.tripod.com/sawyer01.jpg)
