Elton
Replies
I think of Elton as the ex-boyfriend in CLUELESS.
As for a name, it is pretty cool!
Daisy seems like something people are naming more and more pets! I would have loved to use it for my daughter, Gemma, but we have friends whose lab-mix is named Daisy, so it was out for us!
Aubrey is nice
Owen is nice, too.

1) What do you think of the name Elton?
--> The only thing I think is "Elton John". Even if it's after him, I don't think it's subtle enough. (I don't like blatant celebrity names.)
2) Does it fit well with Aubrey?
--> Yes, they fit OK together.
3) Do you like this sibling set? Aubrey, Elton, Owen & Daisy
--> Yes apart from Daisy, which stands out as being too flimsy compared with the others.

1) What do you think of the name Elton?
I don't care for it. It doesn't feel like a name to me (sort of surname-y), and I dislike naming children after celebrities. I think name honoring should be reserved for family only.
2) Does it fit well with Aubrey?
I think all names work together in a sibling set, as along as it doesn't form a theme of any kind. Would you be using Aubrey for a girl or a boy? I don't like it for either gender - I just don't like the sound of it, and I don't find it masculine or feminine.
3) Do you like this sibling set? Aubrey, Elton, Owen & Daisy
See my above answer about sibling sets. Sorry, but I don't care for any of those names.
4) Any other sibling suggestions
Random suggestions:
GIRLS:
Joanne
Lydia
Helena
Tiffany
Ruby
BOYS:
Hank
Gino
Carl
David
Tyler

Its very Elton John, but thats fine by me. I wouldn't use it, but its not that bad. I love Aubrey, but I'm liking it for a girl more than a boy (again). Owen is nice, if overused and Daisy is so sweet. However, I think that its too nicknamey but since I hate Margaret I have no formal name suggestions for you (I'm torn about Maggie for that very reason).
