Tamarisk and Revery
These are names of two girls that came into work today, about age 12.
I like them, though I don't know if I'd use them. I think I'd prefer Revery spelled Reverie.
WDYT?

I like Tamarisk. That's neat. Not my style, but interesting and not outre.
Revery (or Reverie) has too floofy a meaning for my taste; a reverie is a daydream, a moment of indulgence, far from reality. Besides, the sound of it isn't the least bit feminine to my ears.

I don't care for ether. Tamarisk reminds me of the word asterisk, and Revery reminds me of the word rivalry. Both are trendy and creative, and Revery is not at all feminine.

Reverie would be a great name for a hippie character. On a real person...I don't know.
Tamarisk reminds me of "tamarind." GROSS! (For the full story on tamarind, I'd suggest you go here: http://www.bad-candy.com/)

ETA: Got the address wrong. Badcandy.com appears to be a Scandinavian chick band or something. o.o

I love tamarind candy...
I didn't go to your link, but I like tamarind in general. I use it when I make Pad Thai.
