I'm not fond of Roman. I find it pretentious, and much too strong a name. ("Strength" isn't something I look for in names anyway.) I picture a big soldier in armour, holding a sword lol.

Doesn't go with Maeve at all, but I love Roman! I love Liam too

I prefer Rowan or Ronan to Roman and Gabriel is a great choice, too. As for a companionable girl's name for Maeve, :o) how about Gwenyth, Reagan, Ainsley or Brenna?

I love Maeve and Liam, somehow I think Ronan, Rohan or Rowan would be great for a third boy.

Love Liam & Maeve. As for Roman, its recent celebrity popularity might put people off but I love its strong sound and historical connotation.
