Ara doesn't sound finished. Aria is nms, but I can see it as a name. I know someone whose little sister is named Aria, so that might be influencing me.
Where is Ara from? Sometimes if I know the history of a name, then it's easer to accept it. How else to explain my love for the name Io?

Ara means various things, but mostly it is Latin for "Altar" and is the name of a constellation, See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ara
