Reid or Reed?

I think both are perfectly acceptable. My personal preference is Reid. I just think it looks better.

I love it and would have used it in a heartbeat if I could get my DH to agree, but no luck on that. I had the same problem on which one I like better though. They both seem acceptable. I was definitely leaning toward Reid.

I prefer Reed. I dislike the name though.

I prefer Reid better and I like it but it reminds me of this guy I go to school with he's really tall and he's so nice
I like both, but prefer Reed only because it's my mother's maiden name. So if I ever used it (on a boy, of course, and probably as a mn), it would be spelled Reed. BUT, if I didn't have the connection to that spelling, I'd prefer Reid, only because Reed is a word-name of sorts so Reid looks better to me.
