Véronique
I recently heard of a girl with this name, and I thought it was a great name! Véronique (link: Veronique) is the French form of Veronica. What do you think of it?

Sorry but I dislike it. It's just very unattractive sounding to me. All those long "Ver" sound icy and pretentious to me. Besides, "eek" is not a remotely pleasant sound - it's what we say when we get a shiver up our spine! In the US, people would stress the last syllable (ver-on-EEK) which would only emphasise that. So, nmsaa, I'm afraid._____________________________________________________________________"There are few more distressing sights than that

This name is occasionally used in my area, I know a 15-year-old girl names that. She often uses the nn "Vero".

I knew a Tatiana Veronique and even though I wouldn't use the name myself, it fit her to a "T". She was French and Spanish (from Spain).

I prefer Veronica. I generally don't care for "-ique" names.

I really love Veronica (enough so that I took it as my Confirmation name), but Veronique leaves me cold. In the land of -ique names, I like Monique best, since the nickname Mique is so cute.Array

I much prefer Veronica. But Veronique is rather pretty, if a bit spicy sounding. I think it'd make an interesting middle name with something classic like Margaret Veronique or Elizabeth Veronique.

I'd prefer Veronica, but I'm not too keen on the name.

I don't like it, but it's better than Veronica, which makes me think of Archie Comics. I don't think it would ever make it to my faves list.

I love Véronique. It's usually in my top 20. Definitely preferable to Veronica (which I don't like).
