I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Yes, Madelyn and Madeline are pronounced differently: Madelyn is usually MAD-uh-lin whereas Madeline is MAD-eh-lien or mad-eh-LEEN.If you want a French name, you need to use the French spelling (Madeline) with one of the two pronunciations listed for it (click link).
