Re: Evan

It's OK, and it definitely flows well, but it doesn't quite fit with your other daughters' names. Your other girls have sunrname names, and Evan isn't a surname.

It might seem like
I have a "theme" going, but I really don't. I'm not trying to stick with a "surname theme", just trying to find a name that I am wild about :o)

Evan is a surname too (although Evans is more common)

Kyle? That's a surname?
In my h.s. class was a boy with the last name of Kyle.
Yes, it is
BtN even says so. So does this: http://snipurl.com/frq5.
Though I admit that Kyle may be more familiar as a place name to some people.

Evan doesn't automatically remind me of Evans, truthfully. Evan, to me, is simply the Welsh masculine form of John. It's not remotely surnamey to me, and I don't believe it would be widely considered a surname name like Mackenzie, Ashley, or Kyle are.

Well, there's the surname "Evans".
