I quite like McKenna but most people on this board won't (not that this is a bad thing, just the way these people tend to be). IRL, I only know of 2 one spelled Makenna (which I hate) and the other spelled McKenna (which I love) and both are called by their formal names most of the time & if their ever called by a nn its Mack. Overall, its a nice name if its spelled the traditional surname way of either McKenna or Mackenna (which is not as common) and while its trendier because of the surname as a first name thing its definately not overly popular. Just don't make it too trendy & silly by trying to ignore the root of the name by going with an unsual spelling.
