Wesley
What do y'all think of Wesley Ophelia for my baby girl?

Nooooo!
Wesley is all boy (and dorky boy at that). And Ophelia is so prissy and girly. I think they mix like vinegar and oil. Sorry! I like most of the other possibilities you've posted before.

Okay it even says that wesley is masculine on this site so definitly do not use it
I find it really sweet sounding. "Wesley Ophelia", it flows off the tongue so nicely.
I intensely dislike Wesley on a boy - it sounds dorky to me - but on a girl I don't have that connotation at all for some reason :-)
My favourite of the names you've mentioned is still Hollis though ... I think Hollis Ophelia Wright would be just gorgeous.
Good luck, as always

I really love Wesley...on a boy. I dislike it immensely on a girl. And don't even think about changing the spelling to something like Wesleigh or Weslee to make it look more feminine. It won't work. :-) However, I truly love the name Ophelia. Perhaps you could use Ophelia as a fn?
Edited to add comment about spelling and to correct my own spelling error.

Not for a girl. In fact it's only a surname to me. I love Ophelia.

Wesley is a BOY name, and it's absolutely awful on a girl!
Actually, it's just a name... that's all, just a name.
As I said on UUCN... I don't really like it.
Georgia Dean is AMAZING, so is Charlotte Dean. Girl names with cute, boyish nicknames, it'll fit! JMHO :))))))

I just saw something that reminded me of you...
Kansas on a girl. Kansas Ophelia? Just a thought... ;)

Wesley sounds incredibly masculine to me, and pairing it with something as frilly as Ophelia is just weird imo. It sounds very wrong. Sorry.

Not for a girl. Not with Ophelia.
I agree that it's all boy. What about Wynn?
With the occurrence of cross gender-ing of names, I could (barely) see some of the male or unisex names you've used or thought of used on girls, but Wesley is not one of them - not by a long shot. It's pure male to me, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. It just ugly for a girl, I think. Sorry to be blunt.
Edit: Spelling.

I like Ophelia but do not like Wesley.
Don't like it.
Wesley is all-male to me. I just can't see it as a girl's name. I'm still going for Georgia Dean.

I don't post much, but I thought I'd ask: Have you considered the name Devin/Devon? My favorite from your other post is definitely Bryce. Wesley, IMO, just doesn't have a good sound. Also, Ophelia is a great mn.
It's awful, your'e mixing up trend with a classic name.
It's so bad that saying it hurts.

I'm not mixing anything up, simply think it's a nice name for a girl.

My ex bf's name is Wesley, i like it for a boy, but i really really dislike it on a girl, which is probably why you love it teehee..:) I do love Ophelia as a middle name, it's absolutely beautifull!
Sorry, but I find Wesley very unnattractive on either gender, but particularly harsh on a girl (& I like unisex style names). What other names do you like?
BTW, I love Kyle for a girl as its my DH name & I would love to use it if he'd let me :D! Dylan is beautiful & I prefer it on a girl. What about Brynn? Its similar to Bryce but just a tad cooler IMHO. I suggest looking over Ciarda's list again (I think I contributed to it), but here are some options that I can think of off the top of my head:
Ashton
Avery
Burke
Camden
Casey
Colton nn Cole or Colt
Connor
Dale
Drew
Emerson
Finley (one of my favs)
Flynn
Grayson
Hayden
Hunter
Morgan (but too close to Logan for me)
Parker
Piper
Prudence (Prue)
Presley
Sadie
Sage
Sailor
Scout
Sam (just Sam)
Sawyer
Sloane
Streeter
Sullivan
Tatum
Tamsin
Truett
Walker
Wyatt
Wow, thats longer than I thought it would be

Lister: Kryten 2X4B 523P? Is that your full name?
Kryten: Yes, but I don't like the 2X4B. Such a dorky middle name. Then again, I knew an android who's middle name was 2Q4B.

Blech. This is mostly based off of my experiences with Wesleys (with one, really--just the one that's related to me), but I think Wesley is an absolutely horrible name. (The fact that I only think of an overweight, wrestling-obsessed elementary school kid probably is blinding me to what little charm Wesley might have, but I also dislike the sound.)
If you absolutely much have a Wes- name, I'd go with Westley. Even though it's what I think of as off-limits-for-all-girls (thank Westley the farm boy for that, hee), I'd like it better than Wesley (which ought to be a synonym for ralph, if you ask me).
