I'm not a big fan of it for a girl. I love the name (it's the middle name of one of my twin boys), and for a girl it's alright, but I think it suits boys better. -Rachel

You'll not see nothing like the mighty QuinnI prefer Quinn for a boy. I don't find it cute using boy's names for girls at all. That said, I would prefer a longer name for both a boy and a girl. For a boy, Quinlan or Quinton.

I think of the Manfred Mann song. Good solid name for a boy not a girl's name in my opinion

I think it's really nice - it's not too frilly, but I think it does have a slightly feminine feel to it. Having said that, I would personally choose it for a boy rather than a girl - probably as a shortening of Quillan.
Something to ponder (or not): apparently Quinn or Quinny were medieval slang for vagina. I don't know if that will influence your feelings at all... it sorta has mine, I must confess.

Personally, I think it would work. A lot of people kind of run the syllables in my name (Korrine) together so that it sounds like "Krin," which other people hear as "Quinn." Plus, I grew up on Quinn Road, so I have an affinity for the name. :-) To be born Welsh is not to be born with a silver spoon in your mouth, but with a song in your heart.

Quinn has absolutely no feminine qualities to it. It's all masculine and very surname-y, and while I only like it for a boy, I don't care for the name (I'm not fond of Q names). So, I don't like it at all for a girl. It'd be very trendy for a girl, anyway.

It's much better on a girl than a boy imo, but I dislike it all the same ... It'd make a better middle name._____________________________________________________________________"My universe is laced around your wrist; I am the bracelet you sport."Elinor

I think that Quinn is a really cute name, but I only like it for a boy.
EDIT: I really like Aquinnah (as Alice posted).

Quinn's 100% masculine to me, and it's on my Favourites List for a boy only.Quinna's nice for a girl, I think. Other possibilities are Quinta, Quintina, Quintilla, Quintella, and Quentine.
