Clarissa?
My SIL (well she will be this September ) has decided to name her first DD Clarissa. I think it's a pretty name and I have never met anyone with the name. Wdyt?:)It's a GIRL! Our Princess is due July 27, 2005!

It's nice. I prefer Larissa & Marissa though.

I've never met a Clarissa either. It's pretty but I think of a snobby girl for some reason._____________________________________________________________________"[David Gest] looks like he's had a lot of plastic surgery done, but not by a plastic surgeon."Elinor

I don't care for it. I find it ugly some reason.

I like the name Clarissa, but the problem with the name is there are several names that sound like it and that could get annoying for her.

I love Clarissa! It's such pretty sounding name, and as a child of the 90s, I grew up thinking that Clarissa Darling was the epitome of cool.Clearly, that was a mistake--she succumbed to the denim sunflower hat just like every other woman in the 90s--but the name is definitely awesome.Array (who likes Clarissa Violet a lot)

I think it's pretty also. I like Carissa too.

I love it, I have been wondering about it myself- whether it's actually useable today or just plain OTT. It has such a pretty sound and is a nice alternative to Claire or Clara.
