How about Fintan, nn Finn
in reply to a message by Amy
Fintan, spelled this way is an old Irish boy's name. St. Fintan was one of those early Irish saints. How about Fintan, instead of Finton?(St.) Finbarr is my favorite, but I don't expect many people to like it; it's an acquired taste. Then there's always plain Finn, as in Finn McCool, from Irish mythology.

I like Finbar (this spelling) :)
