Hana
My brother's girlfriend (or just friend, I don't know if they're dating or not) has this name. Hana is prn. HAHN-uh, not like Hannah. I'm really liking it lately and was curious about your thoughts?

I really like it. It feels more spritely than Hannah.

It might be mispronounced often (people will say it like Hannah). I'm not really sure if I like it or not.

A woman I work with is named Hanna pronounced HAH-na. It has taken me forever to get the hang of saying it right, but I think it's beautiful.- chazda

I love it. It's unique, but also has sort of a timeless quality about it. Gorgeous.

I know a girl with a name pronounced the same way. She spells it Hanaa. I think that her family is Polish. I think its a pretty name.

I think it's beautiful. I automatically think of the character (the nurse) from The English Patient. A good association, though.

I like it, especially if you're Japanese (it means "flower" in that language; Hanako means "flower child", making it perfect for the neo-hippie baby ;-)).I like the sound of HAHN-a too.

It's pretty; it's also the Japanese for flower, I think.
