I really like Daisy. The name was used in "The Great Gatsby" (one of my faves) but also was Julia Robert's character's name in "Mystic Pizza" - one of favorite movies. Of course, some people might find the association with "Daisy Duke" either favorable or not - but she was pretty and sassy so I find it favorable. It might be an up-and-comer but I like it a whole lot more than Madison or MacKenzie.

I love Daisy. It's such a sweet name. I'd use it as a nn for Margaret or Marguerite (my mom is Margaret). I picture a bright, sunny child with an artistic personality. The only drawback I see is that people might not take her seriously. I've had people tell me this when I mentioned that I like the name.

I LOVE the name Daisy. Not to long ago people were saying they didn't like it and that is wouldn't age well and now heaps more people like it. Strange! I like Daisy Isabelle/Isabella. To go with the boy name you have I like Daisy Katherine Elise. I hope it doesn't get popular because I love it!

I don't see Daisy becoming very popular, but it is part of the old-fashioned name trend so it would be out of place either.I think Daisy Fuentes (sp?) of MTV fame popularized the name in the 90's. Daisy is cute, happy and youthful. My one concern is that it would not be the easiest name to carry if she wanted to become a professional. Of course her work product would be the ultimate factor. But I've been a professional for 15 years and I can say that prosecutors named Mindy and Gigi had a strike against them coming into the job. They overcame the image, but why make life harder unnecessarily? This is a very long winded way of suggesting a dd be givan a more formal name: Margaret, Daisy as a nn. It gives her options later. (Daisy is traditionally a nn for Margaret.)You asked for mns with Daisy, how about:Daisy Elizabeth
Daisy Claire
Daisy Anne
Daisy Katherine
Daisy Miranda
Daisy Charlotte
Daisy Astrid
Daisy Cathleen

Daisy is not popular, but it is getting more common. However, I have seen articles where it was singled out as a name that was cute for a little girl, but not so great for a professional woman.

I don't like. It is has a very hillbilly kind of feel to it imo. I think of the "bicycle built for two" song - "Daisy, Daisy, give me an answer do. I'm Half crazy, all for the love of you...." There is also Daisy Dukes and Daisy Duck. I also don't like daisys that much as flowers. I doubt it will get popular in the US. Maybe in England or Australia. I think Daisy is a little mismatched with Aubrey Maximilian Stewart, which is so formal and sophisticated. Daisy is simple and nicknamey. Paired with Aubrey, I would use it as a nickname for Margaret.
Margaret Victoria or Margaret EvangelineIf you don't like Margaret, then:
Daisy Evangeline
Daisy Victoria
Daisy Adeline
Daisy Evelyn
Daisy Magdelena

If it's getting popular then I haven't noticed. The only time I see it mentioned or hear of it is on this board. I think Daisy is one of those names like Juliet that a lot of people like but not too many would actually use it. But I could be wrong, maybe it's the new Lily but still I haven't been hearing it. I think it's a cute name, a lot of charm. Slightly cutesy I must admit but I think a lot of women would be able to pull it off.Unfortunately it always reminds me of Daisy from The Great Gatsby. And well she wasn't the best character.Middle name suggestions:Daisy Margot
Daisy Evelyn
Daisy Lucille
Daisy Catherine
Daisy Annabelle
Daisy Charlotte

I don't like Daisy, sorry. It sounds childish and patronising almost. Other flower names are both more unusual and more sophisticated. I do think it's getting more and more popular everywhere. In England right now, it's in the high 30s and in the States it's growing too though not as fast. All the same, a nice combo would be Daisy Isabella :-)_____________________________________________________________________"Dream like you'll live forever. I think Daisy is super cute! I think it might rise in the rankings, but I'm not sure it will get really popular. What about: Daisy Anastasia Lauren

The name Daisy has really started to grow on me lately--I think it's really cute. I know a little girl who's five years old named Daisy, and she is absolutely adorable--I think that's part of the reason the name has grown on me. I don't think Daisy will ever get really popular, although it's always a possibility.
