I prefer Patrick. Padraic is alright for a change, as Patrick is so popular in Australia. And it does sound basically Patrick as [t] and [d] are the same just [d] is voiced. ie: say [t] then [d].
I'd prefer pronouncing it pad-rick over pad-ray-ick.
