Lillianna & Lilliana
Do these two spellings have different pronounciations as in
"Anna" and "Arna"?
And which do you like best?

I pronounce them the same, but there isn't really a long "ah"/"aw"/"ar" sound for "a" in my accent anyway.I prefer the spelling Liliana. The name is already very fussy, without any more unnecessary letters. If I had to pick though, I'd choose Lillianna :-)

I would pronounce Lillianna lili-anna and Lilliana lili-ahna. I prefer Liliana (lily-ahna) though."A guilty conscience needs to confess. A work of art is a confession."- Albert Camus

I pronounce them differently:
Lilianna - Lily-Anna
Liliana - Lily-Ahna (Arna in a British accent)I prefer them with one L in the middle, and I slightly prefer Liliana.

Ditto, but prefer just Lily :)

I pronounce both as Lil-lee-awna. I prefer the spelling Lillianna, as it looks more complete, but I don't care for the name.

Lilianne trumps them, IMO...(m)I pronunce that Lily-Anne, by the by. I think it's ten times nicer than either Lillianna or Lilliana--I don't like the sound of them. I do pronunce them differently, though. An -anna ending means saying AA-nah (with an AA like in attic), while an -ana ending means saying AH-nah (with an AH like in car).If I had to pick a spelling, I'd go with Liliana. But I like Lilianne much more--it seems far more down to earth to me. :)Array

Not to me. I prefer Liliana to them both.
