I think it's such a pretty name, I wouldn't use a nn.

But, at home you could affectionately use Odie, Dess, Dessa,

My first thought was Dessy, but that's probably because it's the brand of dresses my bridesmaids will be wearing. My next thought was Odie.

I've heard of an Odessa whose nn is Essie. I think she's a musician that played at the annual arts festival where I live.
