I may be in the minority here but I LOVE the name Leah! I think its a beautiful, classic name! Dont get me wrong, Julia is nice as well but it always reminds me of the movie "The Wedding Singer" when Drew Barrymore's character's married name will be Julia Gulia....I just say Julia Gulia everytime I hear that name lol....

I would personally go for Julia, juast becaus ei think that Leah is increasing in popularity and i wouldn't personally want the same name as 20 other girls in my year at school.

Leah and Julia don't even make it into the top 100 in NSW (Australia), so popularity isn't a problem :)It's a GIRL! Our Princess is due July 27, 2005!

Hmmm ... I can't really decide either lol. I like them both to a degree - they're pretty, but not to the point I'd use them myself.I think I prefer Leah, though my favourite form is Leia (LAY-uh).

They are both nice but I prefer Leah. However Julia has the advantage that everyone pronounces it the same way - I had a friend at secondary school called Leah and people pronounced it wrong all the time.

I really like both names. My cousin Julia likes to use Lia as a nn, so that could work too, as Eva mentioned.
I think I like Julia just a bit more :-)

I'd say Julia, and you can always use Lia as a nn! What a lovely name...I'm sad it's getting so popular where I live.

Julia! It is ten times prettier than Leah, in my opinion. :)

Julia. Just prefer the look & sound of this name.:)

Leah if she is quiet and snuggly. Julia if she hollers and fusses. :-)Personally I prefer Julia because it seems more colorful to me, but both names are beautiful.
