Calla is better

I don't like it .... too cutesy. sorry :-)

I love Callie, in that spelling, as a pet form of Calla. It doesn't work as a full name in its own right though, imo.

I like Callie...Cally's ok too I guess, I just prefer the other spelling. It's a cute name, but I don't think I'd use it.

I adore the name Callista - it's in my top 10 list. I suppose it would be a cute nn for that?

I think it is cute. I would even like it more as a nn for Callista/Calista.

I think it's much too nickname-y and immature sounding to be a formal name. But, I don't like the idea of choosing a formal name around a nickname. My reasoning: because what if the child doesn't like the nickname? You've settled on a name for a nickname that won't be used. But, names that could have Cally as a nickname would be Calleigh (or whatever spellings).

I really like the name Callista and would probably use Cali as a nn for that. I know a girl named Cali (full name.)
