Madelina is nice enough. Mandolina isn't horrible but it reminds me too much of mandolin.

I don't care for either, as I'm reminded of the word mandolin.

Madelina is lovely, though I still prefer Madoline (pr'd MAD-uh-lyne).Mandolina sounds lovely, but it strikes me as the word "mandolin" with an "a" at the end, which may or may not be the origin?_____________________________________________________________________"You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it true."Elinor

Madelina is very very pretty, but I find Mandolina too close to the word "mandolin". Madelina has the same latinized attractiveness to it that I find Josephina / Josefina has from Josephine.

Madelina is pretty, but I don't really care for Mandolina. Reminds me of a mandolin even though it would be pronounced differently.
