My friend who likes the names
Phoebe and Nymphadora for girls, and
Addison for a boy, was thinking of names for two characters for a story, and enlisted my help. She needed a male and female name, and I suggest
Sterling, under the impression she knew I meant it for the male.
She said, "That's such a pretty name for a girl! I love it!"
My reply, "Uh, it's for a boy."
She thinks it's too girlie for a boy, and I think it's much too masculine for a girl.
Well, it'll be used as the woman's name in her story. And, the man's name in the story is Debonair (not my idea).
I had suggested
Sterling for the man, and
Anita for the woman.
Just thought I'd share. :)
