Dagny?
The name Dagny has been growing on me lately. Your thoughts?

The dag sound is not good. A dag is something that hangs off a sheep's butt.
I went to high school with a girl by this name, but didn't know her very well. She seemed stuck up, though. I guess it could work on the right person, but it doesn't have an attractive sound imo. The "dag" is not nice sounding, maybe because of the word 'dagger'. :(
I just don't like it.
I actually kind of like it, but it reminds me of Raoul de Chagny from the Phantom of the Opera. Not a bad association, but still.
I don't care for it. While it's a feminine name, I don't find it at all feminine, but rather masculine. It has a surname-y feel to it. I also think if the surname Cagney, as in actor James Cagney. But, I don't like it for a boy, but I think I would prefer it for a boy.
