There have been plenty of octuplets, but I've never heard of an entire set surviving birth. Most of the time the majority or all of the babies are so small that they are stillborn or die shortly after birth.
Certainly there were *not* a set of all-girl octuplets born in the mid-1980s who all survived and had normal enough health to be all in a gymnastics team together! :-)
