I know a woman from South Africa who is named Anneliese and she pronounces it Ah-nuh-leeze, so it might depend on what country? I would say Liesl Lee-zil, I love the Sound of Music and would use Liesl myself if I wasn't so obviously not Austrian if you know what I mean. :)
