I don't like it...I have a bad association with a really snobby girl, but I don't like how it sounds, sorry :-)

I've never cared for it. To look at it, it reminds me of vagina autmotically (sorry!), even though the pronuncations are totally different.

I know a woman named Regina who goes by Gina, which I think is cute. Gina suits her much better, too.

I like it. My fiance's moms name is Rejeana and I think I prefer that spelling.

I think the name is okay, not something I'd use but not something that I hate either. I hate two associations with the name- one is of my brother's friend's mother, she is about 40 and is quite nice, she goes by Gina. The other is of a winner of Australian Big Brother, she is probably 30 and she goes by Reggie, she was kind of ocker-ish in speech but was really nice.

I personally love this name and its meaning, I like the nn "Gina" much better than Reggie (I always think Reginald when I hear Reggie!)

not my style i have a bad connection with a regina. Just a lady that has seemed to have bad luck all through her life.

Yeeah, I'm not so sure I like the meaning and I don't think that I would ever use it because of the meaning. I personally, don't like this name. I haven't had any bad experiences with people possessing this name, but it sounds really harsh to me. I definitely dislike the nn Reggie. I can see the appeal in Regina, but in the mood that I am in I just dislike it.

I've had a bad association with this name too. So I don't care for it. The meaning 'queen' doesn't sit well with me either. I think of a spoiled girl that think she is better than everyone.
