If there are Italian connections, yes. Otherwise, I'll go with Lissa Hannah and say try Francis Bruno.

I like it.
I know someone with a young son named Bruno.
I like Francis but prefer Frances (my sisters name) as a girls name, its a nice combo.- Kitty

NMSAA I think it sounds like a dog's name

I really can't picture of person of any age named Bruno, but it's cute for a dog or a teddy bear. Francis I like!

I don't care for the name Bruno. It just sounds incomplete to me, plus I think of a dog. Francis isn't masculine enough for a boy, but I think Francis Bruno flows better.

My aunt was desperate to call my little cousin Bruno but we all told her it was awful and sounded like a dog's name, and she shouldn't use it. So she stuck with Charles Thomas (Charlie)

I think of it as a dogs' name, for some reason. It's also very harsh to my ears, like Bruce, Brutus etc. Afraid I strongly dislike it :-(

That's my father's mn.I'm not fond of it, as is my dad so he never uses it, but it IS his mn, so I'm being bias here, and says that I like it. :-pMy father is Jan Bruno. Jan is prn as YAN btw.- Charlie
