My favourite spelling is the one you gave - Reese :-)There's a handful of historically male names I like on females, and vice versa, but I prefer Reese on a boy (even though I wouldn't use it -- it's too overused). This is mostly because it seems obviously faddish on a girl after Reese Witherspoon.

I love Reese for a girl & I don't mind Rhys for a boy (but only as a mn).

i love Reese on a girl, spelled just like this. Reece is more masculine, but since im a witherspoon fan, i can only see it on a girl

I really dislike it, sorry. I guess I'd say it's more of a girl's name, with that spelling.

Okay I love this name it is a family name, it was my grandmothers and my uncles, so I like it for both! But I like the spelling Reese because thats how they spell it!

I prefer the spelling Rhys, and only for a boy.

I think it's gender neutral, but probably because of Reese Witherspoon there will be a lot of little girls with it.

Although I generally dislike Reese / Rhys for either gender (I think it has a very whiny, annoying sound) I prefer it on boys because that's how it was originally intended to be used, and because I'm most familiar with it as a surname.

I prefer the Reese spelling. I lean more towards boy b/c it is my cousin's name and that is the strongest association I have. :)

Definitely male. I like Reese, can't stand Reece, but I love Rhys (all w/ same pronunciation).

I only like the proper spelling (Rhys) and only on boys - it sounds terrible on a girl imo.

My personal preference is how you mentioned it (Reese), but the original Welsh spelling Rhys is okay too. Whatever spelling, I like it only on a boy (its use on females exists primarily due to Ms. Witherspoon).
